From CIMH to OPL to Abilities

The third of the Four Tiers is Abilities Development. Once people are healthy and they have a health framework, it is possible to utilize the same information and related techniques to extend to improvement of individual capabilities and conditions. Dr. Tingey presented the outlines of a plan to make use of fluidity and networked process support to provide unique, critical, and useful information for personal development, education and training, and employment at key junctures of life. A 2010 presentation involving the work of Dr. Tingey and colleagues on the subject sponsored by the U. S. Department of Education is available below. This is based on benefits from fluidity and institutional commitment to knowledge and authority processes and can serve to support ‘Abilities Olympics’ and development programs in a myriad of communities and sectors.
