From tacit to explicit to expressive forms, human knowledge is at the center of it all. This is principally tacit knowledge, knowledge in our heads. It can be shared and enhanced, but there are real limits to making use of it, particularly under complexity, change, and the passage of time.

What do you call an idea in the forest of human concerns that does not benefit from systematic operational expression? A whim? A wish? Perhaps, but is certainly a lost opportunity leading to want, depravation, and resignation. There must be a system.

It only works when people are “all in”. Music is critical in this because it is an example, not a metaphor. Emotional engagement is powerful and necessary for individual oneness, organizational integrity, mutual admiration, and stability.
