A review of several conventional consumer market reports point to opportunity for the Four Tiers. Key points of these can be seen below. Clearly, digital systems and solutions are expected generally, but at a much higher level of integrity and utility. 

Increased integrity should bring improved results. The logic of the Four Tiers is that improved health from precise and accurate medical and therapy processes open the door to the New Performance Reality, which leads to Optimum Performance Living by leveraging medical and health information and integrated lifestyle options and resources. Improved health and performance leads to enhanced opportunities for consumption.

People who are well and active can earn more money. They have incentive and opportunity to spend more money. As they progress socially, economically, and physically, they will spend their money on different things. Chicago: AT Kearney.), these patterns can be identified in a number of ways. 

The four categories, from a level of poverty to rising prospects are as follow:

1. Low income hard working
2. Keeping warm
3. Emerging wealthy
4. Service-oriented luxuriants

The chart above demonstrates estimated individual consumer expenditures by category, the six categories from AT Kearney as shown. As can be seen, increased consumption with increased wealth is not linear. There is a decided tilt toward services from basic consumption items, such as basic and discretionary food, which aren't that different in terms of total expenditures.

Among other things, such patterns demonstrate a need for improved systems and functionality as future consumers, wishing for services, entertainments, etc., will have increasing needs for technological supports.
